Welcome to the Lummertz da Rocha Lab

The Lummertz da Rocha laboratory is based in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology at Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Our research focuses on developing and applying systems biology approaches to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms of cell phenotypes in health and disease. Then, we aim to use this knowledge to engineer cell types, dissect dysregulation of cell phenotypes in disease and identify new drug candidates.
